Accessibility Statement

Our commitment to a website that everyone can use, and how to reach us if something gets in your way.

Caldrion LLC (“Caldrion”) wants this website to be usable by the widest possible audience, including people with visual, hearing, cognitive and motor disabilities and people who use assistive technologies.

Our standard

We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA, published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C). We designed and built this website with those guidelines in mind and check it as we make changes. This statement reflects our own assessment; it is not a third-party certification.

What we have done

  • Clear structure. Pages use semantic HTML and landmarks, with one main heading per page and headings in logical order, so you can navigate by heading or region.
  • Skip link. A “Skip to content” link at the start of every page lets keyboard users bypass the navigation.
  • Keyboard access. All links, menus, buttons and form controls can be reached and operated with a keyboard alone, and show a visible focus indicator.
  • Text alternatives. Meaningful content has text alternatives; decorative images and animations are hidden from assistive technologies.
  • Motion. The animated topographic backgrounds are decorative and can be paused with a visible control on each animated page header. They stay still if your device is set to reduce motion or to save data. Scroll animations are also turned off when you prefer reduced motion.
  • Color contrast. Text and interface colors are chosen to meet WCAG AA contrast requirements.
  • Zoom and reflow. Layouts are responsive and support browser zoom up to 400%.
  • Accessible forms. Every form field has a programmatic label, required fields are indicated, and error messages are linked to their fields and announced to screen readers.

How we test

We check pages with automated tools, including Lighthouse and axe, and test them manually using only a keyboard. Automated tools cannot catch every barrier, so we welcome your feedback.

Known limitations

  • Human verification. Our forms use Cloudflare Turnstile, a third-party service, to confirm that submissions come from a person. It usually runs without any action from you, but if it presents a challenge you cannot complete, contact us and we will help you send your inquiry or application another way.
  • Documents shared by email. Older documents we share by email may not be fully accessible. If you need one in a different format, let us know and we will provide it.
